Mantrailing workshop and tracking training

During the last two weekends I was busy with Dareesha and her hobbies.

On Saturday and Sunday ( 10./11.09.) we attend to a Mantrailing Workshop, organized by our national club committee. Thank you , Rony and Marleen for organisation and thanks for your hospitality, dear Gaby.
We have learned a wonderful possibility to work with our dogs under the management of the dog trainer Mrs. Romy Schmidt. In man trailing, the dog’s sence of smell can be trained to find and follow human trails. After a short theoretical introduction we immediately put into practice what we have learned.
All members of the group were delighted with the dogs’motivation and confidence and how the tracking dogs could identify the correct trail among numerous human and environmental scents. It was really fascinating and we had so much fun. Now we are looking for an advanced course in the near future.

On Friday 16th of September I met again our tracking training group. We spent a nice and also funny afternoon with kind people. After we have worked normally on grassy grounds we had the opportunity to track on ploughed soil. Thank you for the organisation, dear Carmen.
Dareesha did the tracking with our training group only a few times until now but she worked with a lot of drive and happiness.
Thank you for the organisation, dear Carmen and thanks for your professional support, dear Sigrid.
